I can give up 5 for the rest of the year in exchange for a 19 year old, blonde.July 21, 2003 at 03:13AM View BBCode
I didn't know you could do that. If you can how does it work?July 21, 2003 at 05:05AM View BBCode
I thought it common knowledge and someone please correct me if I am wrong but I thought it proper to exchange CPs. In other words, I would give up a young player to you in exchange for a player (probably older) and you would promise to keep your 5 coach points on him for a year (or whatever time we set up). I always thought it incestious and somewhat caniballistic but other leagues do it...You allways hear em talk about CPs as a commodity...I would actually prefer not doing it..if we had a vote..but it is a form of trade...as is future draft promises...a thread is normally set up to control and monitor such trade "promises".July 21, 2003 at 07:43PM View BBCode
I haven't actually heard about doing that but, I can see where that would work if the 2 owners agree on it. I think if the 2 owners agree to do that, it's fine with me.July 21, 2003 at 08:42PM View BBCode
No one should be allowed to do that. It is unfair in my opinion, and allows an owner to over stretch his resources. That owner might then drop out and leave the new owner completely behind the eight ball.July 21, 2003 at 09:08PM View BBCode
Some owners have done this in the past - it is in the same category as draft picks though.August 01, 2003 at 04:23AM View BBCode
Especially since Quinn seems to have done such a deal in the Kirby Puckett League and not held up his end of the bargain by failing to put CPs on a player as agreed.Pages: 1
