We found out from another league member who briefly chatted with his widow on AIM. But we have been unable to get in touch with the family.
Our condolences go out to Grobby's family and loved ones.
Grobby had 6 teams that will need new ownership. We will be sending the money from these teams to help out his widow.
If you knew him at all, or know how we can get in touch with the family, please u2u me and I'll send along your message and condolences. I have an address for them, but not much else.
Here are the teams available, we tried to assign prices which we thought were fair:

We found out recently that one of our owners, Grobby, has passed away. He had been a good member of Sim Dynasty since March of 2003 and many of you I know got to know him in your leagues.We found out from another league member who briefly chatted with his widow on AIM. But we have been unable to get in touch with the family.

Great guy. I was in a league with him and he was a lot of fun. Always making comical posts. He will be missed...

Just wanted to give a quick update. I tried to email Grobby's wife at his old email, but it bounced. After some hunting around, I decided to sent the money via check to their address. $165 in all. Thanks to those that helped out. If I hear anything back from her, I will be sure to let you all know.

I normally dread picking up the mail these days because there always seems to be another problem to deal with concerning Stephen's death, but something told me Saturday to go ahead and get it because just maybe something good was waiting for me there. I want you to know that what you did for me and my family words cannot express. The money is greatly appreciated and needed, but just the act of someone who didn't even know my husband , going to such lengths, means more to me than all of the flowers and cards that we have received over the past few months. Stephen loved playing on SimDynasty. When we went on vacation he had to either bring a laptop or even find a library wherever we went so he wouldn't mess up his teams! Your website was one of his ways to de-stress after a long day and I know he loved playing on it. Thank you so much for thinking of me and my children during this time. I know Stephen would appreciate it too.

VERY NICE, my wife and my daughter also were very touched, my wife no longer thinks this league is a waste of time.

Wow, that's aweosme Tyson. All the things sim does is really great and I'm glad that you do it even if I don't help out with the donations and such. Keep up the good work Tyson!
