Empire was clearly the best of the first trilogy, but Episode III was just as good. . . maybe I should make them even. I wouldn't have ranked a prequel that high, but other than the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" it doesn't get much better than watching Vader turn into Vader. . I felt devastated as I left the theatre the first time - and that says something seeing as how I knew what would happen. .
The story of Episode III is great. Unfortunately, George Lucas did to it what he does best, which is to put together an enormous pile of crap with some amazing moments (such as when Anakin slaughters the Jedi children) and way too much of "Natalie Portman as Natalie Portman, being Natalie Portman."
Honestly, she's a joke. That movie could have been so much more than it was.

And, of course, Lelia is supposed to remember her mother which isn't going to happen if she dies in childbirth.

return of the jedi? jeter, are you serious? ewoks? granted, the little scooters were cool, and the big light saber fight was classic. but ewoks? adorable little semi-stuffed gay bears?

The same with Obi-Wan telling Luke (on Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back) that Yoda was the master who trained him and having Qui-Gon as his master in The Phantom Menace, but a few discrepancies have to be expected in any prequel.
General Grievous was one of the worst characters in Star Wars. A droid general who weilds lightsabers? Come on.

Grievious was pretty cool in the cartoon series, but he was tragically stupid and easy to kill in the film.
Let's add a little more nerd juice into this argument. How about a jedi tier system. Who was strongest - weakest among the major character jedi?

Agreed WB, they overdid Natalie Portman's role again, but especially because she actually did nothing in this movie except be pregnant and cry. .
I thought the Chancellor was excellent and the kid who played Anakin stepped it up a great deal from I and II. . . the scene after Windu is killed and Anakin joins Vader was tremendous.
And ME - as for who trained Obi-Wan, he couldn't say "go see Qui-Gon, the jedi master who trained me" now could he. . Yoda was involved I'm sure. Before Anakin, I think the story is Obi Wan was the greatest Jedi there was, or he would be anyway. . . so Yoda would have been involved.
OK, now I feel like a nerd. . .
Empire is clearly the class of the originals - has it all. Jedi was good but semi-cheesy, the Original was great but somewhat boring early on on tattooine, when the Falcon hits the Death Star, that is classic. .

Clearly, Yoda. Anyone three feet tall and 700 years old, that can pick a fight with darth vader, and not get killed, has mad skills.

Alright... lemme have one of those "Goddamnit" moments that whisky is so inclined on calling me on, like voting for Sebastian Crab for the Hall of Fame.
Just sat through "Little Giants" on HBO. That Spike sure has some class, don't he?

Someone needs to lock down "Complete Asshole" status, just like someone needs to maintain the "Embittered Photoshop Expert" (Syco) and "Monumental Waste of a Potentially Terrific Theme" (Kinslow) roles. It just wouldn't be the same if I wasn't around, indiscriminately swearing at people.

Yoda never dueled Vader.
I believe Obi-Wan was the strongest of all Jedi Anakin was quoted in Episode II as saying (I think) the following.
Obi-Wan is
1) As wise as Master Yoda
2) As strong as Master Windu
Of course, Anakin would have become the greatest Jedi, he was the chosen one. .

I also seem to recall Anakin saying something along the lines of (and I'm going to have to paraphrase here, the exact quote is escaping me), "Obi-Wan molests little Jedi children and he has a serious pencil dick, I saw it in the Jedi shower." So I'm not really sure what to believe.
