Ron Rivera taking over in Carolina? Well that guarantees their defense will be well taken care of.

(hey! do you know who they should have hired...)

They couldn't as the Texans smartly kept Kubiak around.

They did fire their defensive coordinator, which is where the Texans issues were last season.

so let's see if i've got this straight. the denver broncos win two super bowls under mike shanahan, for which offensive coordinator gary kubiak deserves the credit because he's clearly the brains of the operation. the houston texans go 6-10, 8-8, 8-8, 9-7, 6-10 in the past five seasons under their current head coach, for which the defensive coordinator is at fault because, well, the head coach is gary kubiak. does that more or less sum it up?

Should Washington be trying to hire Kubiak as offensive coordinator ?

I mean they've got the Shanahan part sooooooooo ??????

Apparently Donovan McNabb isn't.

I think there are rules preventing the sitting President of football operations form also playing QB for a different team.

I believe it's called the Kubiak rule.

can't be. kubiak was a dogshit quarterback.

(he hasn't been much of a coach to this point either, if you want the truth.)

(although he'd still probably be better than rex grossman)

Grossman sucked on CHiPs, why would his Quarterbacking be any different?

as a qb, he's a pretty good actor.

Tebow's not jobless, he's God's wingman.

I think if you check, you'll find that's a volunteer position.

(small-v volunteer, of course. if he ever took a Volunteer job the state of florida might spontaneously combust.)

that was a pretty hilarious turn of events, Kubiak praising Schaub after an absolutely terrible, game-losing INT, and saying he would probably give him back the starting job, and just about immediately getting fired, haha.

I've always thought Kubiak is alright though, he got pretty far with a mediocre QB. I think he's a great red-zone playcaller, although being a Jets fan, everyone else's offense looks dynamic and awesome in every way.

Tim Tebow never lost to Tennessee. Peyton Manning never won against Florida. So naturally, Manning took Tebow's job in Denver and now Tebow is out of the NFL.
