Sorry that the short shotgun didn't work for you. All 3 of my teams rip blitz packages apart by runnning that play set. Hmmm ...
(No one should be throwing screen passes 80% of the time. Period. That's what this adjustment is all about.)
I don't really know what to tell you about the blitzing. I use lots of shotgun looks and I my run/pass ratio stays pretty close to 50/50 (maybe leaning to 40/60 in favor of the pass). I have one team whose o-line is awesome and two teams who have o-lines that are embarrassing. All three teams have great success against blitzing.

Well the game ended at 23-14. (sorry, miscalculated earlier). My team rallied late, but again couldn't come up with enough O early. Breakdown of the stats indicated that the two touchdowns came from improved passing, but ultimately, another interception killed the last drive. My QB was under pressure the entire game, save about 10-15 running plays. I took a look at my O-line, and I think they should be better than they played. End result... Inserting 50/50 Screens /short shotgun might have been the best play. (Or thereabouts).

the screen was pretty much worthless today.
I'd like to recommend a setting for bubble screens to the wide receiver VS screens to the running back.
They are different plays, and the screen to the rb should at least be a decent weapon. Today it seemed to be worth about 3 yards a pop.
