It's ok guys, I didn't have my heart set on either. I'm currently living in Raleigh, but I already made a Carolina team once, so I didn't want to do that, and Charlotte is only a few hours from me. The way that new league payments are processed, it can take up to 5 minutes for the subscription to be processed. It's not supposed to show any messages while it is waiting to process, though, I'll check it out.Chris

I'm honestly glad to be competing against this stout lineup of Owners. I get to compete against Dirtdevil, Scifian, and Bucs1010 in the WPFL, and will enjoy going against Owners I've faced in the past, suched as Caspergm who was a founding member of the WPFL, KLKTKR who recently left the WPFL, and Skycoyote back when I was in the HBL.
Looking forward to get this started. I've never owned more than 1 team as I like to put all my focus on one team. Being able to import strategies over from the WPFL will help. Hope I'll be competitive and be able to stick around.

I was hoping to be the Mississippi River Rats, but then found out I can't choose Mississippi, Doh! I also don't expect to be competitive for awhile. I haven't figured out the intial draft system so it takes me a few amateur drafts before I can catch up with everyone.

Okay, I'm in. Looking forward to 'competing' - competing in the sense I'll be on your schedule. This is a great lineup of talented owners so I expect my usual pattern of .500+, first round playoff burnouts.

To be honest nuzzy, in this lineup, .500+ and a playoff berth means you're one of the top 6 or so owners on the football site...I know you are, but for me, that sounds quite nice :P
