I can tell you that in about 1/2 a seasons worth of having almost all my minor leaguers attempting to switch (only one with CP's, 5 of them) I got one total improvement, an OF to 1B who is young and didn't have points. No one else got one improvement despite plenty of chances. Not a worth proposition.February 27, 2004 at 09:44PM View BBCode
Why not just assume a minor leaguer plays every day, and thus would receive position changes just like major leaguers? I.e., in every game played, each minor leaguer would improve in a new position if one was selected, at the same rate a big-leaguer would improve in that position if he played a game? Maybe you would slightly reduce the improvement rate to account for the lower level of competition and/or not actually playing that position every day. But this way position changes are completely divorced from minor league improvement chances, and no cp/improvement chances are ever "wasted" trying to change positions.February 28, 2004 at 04:34AM View BBCode
Each minor leaguer should be working on whatever position the GM chooses with NO impact on other improvements!Pages: 1 2
