Just waiting for the OS to run. Haven't had time to really evaluate what I have yet. I will take a little time to become familiar with my team but will probably make a few moves once the season gets going a little. I have 5 teams now but planning on getting down to 3 soon so that I can actively participate without being overwhelmed. Take care..........Jeff

I am the new owner in Chicago (NL). Been playing SD for about 1 1/2 yrs so not completely new. I have learned a lot but still have plenty to learn. I am 47, live in NC, near Winston-Salem but planning to relocate to the Atlanta area sometime next year. I'm a Braves fan, grew up liking the Indians and Braves but don't follow the Indians much anymore.Just waiting for the OS to run. Haven't had time to really evaluate what I have yet. welcome. any questions just put it on the board, you'll get PLENTY of suggestions. as you can see by our registration dates, some of us have been around for 9-10 years. this is a good, veteran league with few problems. have fun and PLAY BALL !!!!!

I come to the BHL looking for a challenge, I wanted a rebuild in a competitive, low turnover league, or as low as one can get at this point. I look forward to getting know and compete with you guys.

Thanks for the welcome guys! My name is Steve, I'm a native New Yorker that now lives in LA. I know Rich from the AOL, KGJL, and ASL. I know bigmac from AOL and Weaver from DSL. Rich can attest I'm an active, ethical owner. I've been playing SimD for 5 years. With Brooklyn, I now have 5 Dynasty League teams and 1 Salary League team.I come to the BHL looking for a challenge, I wanted a rebuild in a competitive, low turnover league, or as low as one can get at this point. Wanted to top this thread again for your benefit. Basically if you reject any time you are offered 4-5 items of mediocrity or junk for your all stars, hold on to your #1 picks, and post to the advice forum any offers you receive, you will do great.

I wish I had some stars to trade but when I do i believe in making it known in public to see what the market is for one of these guys sometimes you find its very high and at other times not, but by making it public you pretty much get the most you can and takes away owners who didn't even offer the right to complain lol thats my advice to all.
I'll see you'll in about 7 seasons more if we have more drafts like the last one geez

We got some quality owners and some old timers like me and JT and Postal. This league is not easy so you should be well served from a competition standpoint. Since the minor system is a point system well trading drafts is not bad sometimes since it helps you complete a good to great team and synchronize your development.
Enough of that since you know all that

Thank you for the warm welcome. I have been playing in the Rickey Henderson league for a couple of years and I am looking forward to setting roots in a 2nd league. I looked over my roster and it appears I have my work cut out for me. It has been a long time since Ari has won a title in this league so I best get busy. I've been doing Dynasty Leagues for a while now and this has always been my favorite league. Good bunch of guys. Well managed teams. VERY competitive. I think you'll like it here.
