Porter enters a tie game in the top of the 10th ... and gives up a run, to the 2nd worst offense in the RHL .... Game over ... What a stinking joke what silly, silly ABE the sim is doing to this guy. It was just a silly that (1) I scored 30 runs total for the first two games of the series and that (2) my team scored 3 in the bottom of the 9th to tie that game in the first place. And I don't mind losing, but I'm just confused why ABE is continually showing such contempt to Porter ... and Mahaffey.[Edited on 4-24-2005 by cicada]

Porter is one of only 7 RPs in the RHL ranked B+ total/A- control or better, yet this silly sim treats him like he's among the 7th worst-ranked RPs.

If he was gonna put up numbers like this, I'm sure you're glad he's long gone. Of course, I'm just cynical enough to think if he were still with you, his WHIP would be 0.86 and his ERA would be 1.50.
