It's turning out to be a good wild card race in the AL as Washington has won 24 of its last 33 while Detroit has lost 22 of 33, moving to within 1 game of 2cd place. Just over a month ago Washington was 14 GB. Cleveland is also hanging around, just 4 GB.

I'm kind of surprised DET hasn't made a move to help their offense. They're in the bottom 3rd of the League. Godawful against LHP.

And what a turnaround in Cleveland - one more win would already match the Cavaliers' total for all of last season.
