they aren't as good as the dudes i mentioned.

this is frikking ridiculous. how many shutouts are they each going to have to throw to ther their stats to where they should be? ardner and mee are A rated pitchers.

and i haven't even mentioned walsh and harris on the hitting side.

Going into can you explain: Strye Q. Out has a no hitter in the ninth inning and gets pulled after a 2 base throwing error. So of course my reliver comes in and blows the no hitter, the shutout, and the win. Crap I tell you!

gotta change those preferences so it doesn't happen again.

what reason did it have listed for pulling him?

He was pulled because "Pitcher is being pulled because of the certain circumstances stamina rule which states SP should be immediately pulled when tired and a runner is on at least 2nd." Cmon there needs to be a seperate rule for during a no hitter. I would rather take the chance that he lose it than never know.

Set your manager prefs this way:

When a SP begins to tire, bring in a new pitcher: Only in certain circumstances or Never pull for stamina reasons

----

Certain Circumstances
SP has given up or
RP has given up or
Or the opposing team has a runner on at least: Don't use this rule

-----

If it is a save situation in the 9th inning or later, Bring in the closer unless SP has a no hitter

-----

I think that would do it. It's not very straightforward, unfortunately

all this said, i have had probably had many no hitters especially in HGL where my team has won the CY award for about 12-15 seasons in a row.

but I never notice as i rarely check the box scores.
