i would like to credit my skillful micromanaging of my pitching staff for the victory, but i think it's just ABE's way of balancing things out - like the NFL officials making one bad call to balance out another.

my worst season so far and we won the frikking WS!! this after scratching and clawing up from the depths of hell to make the playoffs.

Nice comeback. I figured I had it in the bag being up 3-1 after game 4. I micro-managed too, having Thiestuf start game 7 and Zemdown in at closer. Not sure why Moe didn't get called in though?

we felt Phi's stuff once already and didn't care for it.....i didn't like the idea of feeling his stuff again in game 7.
but i guess my guys learned to like it after the first go around.

but seriously, i think your other series going to 7 games helped me alot. i don't think we faced your top 2-3 pitchers twice while each of my top three got two starts in the WS.

yeah, i was watching closely. my relievers aren't that great so i figured it was my only shot, but my starters did most of the heavy lifting though.we felt Phi's stuff once already and didn't care for it.....i didn't like the idea of feeling his stuff again in game 7.
but i guess my guys learned to like it after the first go around.
