great events

November 27, 2007 at 09:00PM View BBCode

We have people from all over the country on this message board. I was wondering what some great events around the country are. The type of thing that would be fun to go see if you're visiting from out of town.

A couple off the top of my head are the Detroit Auto Show and of course, Mardi Gras.

The Fremont Solstice Parade and Naked Bicycle Ride is always a joy.

I could have gone with a slightly more graphic image (also taken from the Seattle P-I archive) but decided against it.

Why are the people who just love to get naked in public always so goddamned ugly?

I went and saw Lucy while in Houston. The exhibit was a little too much of recent Ethopian history ( and by recent I mean 19th and 20th century-through '74 or whenever Salesse was deposed) but it was pretty cool to be able to see the old bones.

Sticking my tan cock in your mom's ass - that was a great event.

At least that was her opinion.

Queers.

Bloomington/Normal has the ever uplifting grave site of local hero Adlai Stevenson, plus the home of Corn Nuts. Plus the home of State Farm Insurance and Good Year tires, yea!

so syco you are saying the only reason to hit Bloomington would be to say, "I couch surfed over to Syco's house"....Becuase as lame as that would be it still sounds better than any of the items above.

Around my home town we have the Garlic fest. Thats some good times.

All across the land they celebrate my defeat of the lowly Saxons and the dirty Lombards. Those were great events indeed.

Bellingham has the Ski to Sea festival, which includes a 7-part race from Mount Baker all the way down to the waterfront. Good stuff.

I suppose so, not that I'd care much. We get all kinds of high school sports events here...

Wow, two unrelated references to it in one day? I mean, once was kind of funny, but twice is just creepy, like you're fishing around to see how offensive people find it because you're thinking of working it into your own personal repertoire.

Really? That happened 5 years ago, when he was still in college...(perhaps not coincidentally, he went to the U of Miami)
