I need your help with this trade offer. This is a Private or Speed League

I would do that trade Ruiz will never be the player Carver is.

I'd do it. I don't like ruiz that much and your team should still be competitive in 65 so you aren't giving up a high draft choice.

Plus your CPs are going to, in all likelyhood, be locked up in 65. And where you'll be picking in first, you'll need CPs to develop the player.

This trade looks like a good one for your team.

For purposes of full disclosure I will tell you I am in this league. This deal seems to be in your favor the age difference is offset by fact that by time McCarver hits decline you will have a replacement groomed from your minors.
