I need some input. I have a baseball signed by the 1980 philles. It was a gift from a player on the team so it has no certification or anything like that. I need to part with it since I have had it for about 20 years now and it is not staying in real good shape with me moving around the country.
It has everyone on the World Series roster but Pete Rose.
Does anyone here have a reputable contact in what seems like a sleazy industry?

Sorry I have to comment on this post. An old guy post...1980 NLCS.. i scored tickets to games 3,4,5 of the series in Houston... Greatest short series ever played... sat behind Phils wives for game 4... I remember thinking Bowa's wife was a hottie... Of course I was 17 so anything with breasts turned me on then...... Damn that was a fuun weekend until the tide turned when Vern Ruhle lost his shutout late in game 4.... (the "triple play" game)...

It seems like eBay is your best bet, though admittedly a last resort if you can't find any reliable contacts...

I believe the proper term for these ladies would be Hi-Tech Hookers, at least that is what my local news called them the other night.

I don't really collect memorablia other than cards. I have a few items that have been given me over the years but its not really my thing.
