I wouldn't take this deal. Rooney is pretty marginal, Higginson and Baker are 17-year-olds that could turn into something with 5 years of CPs but are worth the 3rd and 5th round picks they were drafted with.

So in essence, you're trading a great young hitter for a 1st rounder, a 3rd rounder, a 5th rounder, and Rooney who isn't really going to help your team in the long run. Given that, I'd just keep O'Neill.

What he said ^^^^. O'neill is worth way more than those there. I would either decline the trade and leave it at that, or counter for something you actually need like some young guys to help out in the bullpen or some #1 draft picks. You have great starting pitching its the bullpen that could use a little work. Try to get Neo;)
