OK, so I finally decided to check out CC. I'm convinced it's the second coolest game on the web (behind SIM, of course:D).

Anyway, do I have to pay for a premier membership in order to play with you guys?

The SIM community is really great and I'm hoping to carry over into CC and connect there as well, but I'm not the most web-savvy message board guy in the universe.

No you don't have to be a premie to play, about half the guys are and half aren't. You're limited to four games at a time as a non paying member but there are plenty of games out there. We're about finishing up our tourneys and should get some good pick up games again soon.

Be careful playing with people you know in a public game. It is very easy for people to accuse you of having a secret alliance if they find out, even if you don't have one with your friend.

Well the tourney forum is about the only place to get into a tournament which is helpful.

It is Conquer Club(an online variation of the Risk board game).

we have a difference of opinion on that.

Whisky, drew and deveau prefer Warfish
most of the rest of us prefer CC (although I haven't done a formal poll)

The other ones mentioned by dunn aren't in the competition.

i have not been invited to join www.warfish.net so that is why i didn't list it. the reason i listed the others is because some people do not have the money to become premium members and by using all of the sites i am able to play more games and get experience at the game since i just recently started playing it.

Thanks, but it didnt help. Something is going on with me and this site because every other site works fine for me. I might have to wait until I get home.
