The Dips' second baseman is already making a strong showing in the annual race for the prestigious MVPNBR* award. His recent performance against KC shouldn't hurt: 7 for 13 with 5 runs, 12 RBI. Swats 3 homers, steals two bases for good measure. He ended the series with a two-dinger, 7-RBI showcase, capped by a 7th-inning grand slam. Not bad, eh?

He now joins the list of players I really hate - Cox, Dietz, Norio, Palmeiro, Blake, Vickers, ..... Rhodes. :P

not so fast scooter. Bill Rhodes is in a tight race for the MVPNBR. Chicago's relief pitcher, [url=http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?player=nobody&mode=stats&id=2085231]Bill Rhodes[/url], is also off to a stellar start, with a 2.16 ERA and 9 saves in 10 chances. (The blown save was due to 2 uneanred runs),
He's currently 4th in the Rolaids Relief Man standings, but looking to make a move.
