So, my dad and I went Sunday afternoon to watch My Beloved Nats stun the Phils in a 5-3 nail-biter. Jesus Flores gets the GWRBI with a key HBP.
We've had three seasons of Nats baseball here in Our Nation's Capital, and they've been a lot of fun. Now it's time to move on to the exciting new stadium being built on DC's waterfront. But nothing can erase the scads of good memories from Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium. Gonna miss the old girl.

PS Actually, I won't miss the old girl too much, because DC United will continue to play there. But still.

Have you seen the new Rays uniforms? Um, hello, the Mariners already have something similar...And the Jays too....There are 2 teams that wear blue in our own division! Why can't we stay green?? Also, there is no more DEVIL in the Rays. We are just the Tampa Bay Rays.

The new park should be great from what I can see online, Scoot. And I agree with you Bo about staying green.
Next year Yankee and Shea go too....

So, are the NY teams playing in new stadia in '08, or you mean '08 is their last year in the existing ones? Either way, I'm glad I got to Yankee Stadium in '02. Now you and I just need to get to Fenway sometime ...
