I'm going to claim the Asia map for doubles, even though I'm sad and don't have a partner.

I'll be your partner Craig, don't cry now...

You're terrible, right? Not that that would change anything, we'll be partners because you're awesome, but just so I have an idea about what I'm getting into.

Yes, pick the board that you just got worked over on by the Magneto kid and the guy who sucks at Risk now.

Dunn, go ahead and pick which map and settings you wanna go with. I'd prefer to go with no cards/chained reinforcements but up to you :)

Ugh, no cards. I call not having to play in a game with those two.

It'll be luck of the draw.

I can kick your ass with cards or no cards, but I don't want to have to play a game that goes on for-fucking-ever and gives no incentive to attack anyone else.
Bones2484

That's true. I guess if someone is playing defense the whole time it would get pretty awful. Standard cards it is.

Does that mean escalating or flat rate?
jetpac

September 19, 2007 at 12:23AM View BBCode

alright, the settings with me and yk will be Extreme Global Warming, flat rate, unlimited, standard game type.

OK so here's where we stand on this one. We've got 6 teams (as soon as Jet and his partner join us) and that's a fairly easy fix. 5 rounds of two team games with the 5th round fought on neutral territory with random settings. That lets every team play each of the others once each and each team to host two matches.

At the end of 5 round the two teams with the most wins will meet for the championship. 3 games, each team hosting once and the third (if necessary) on a neutral site. Here are the matchups for the first round of games:

bones2484 and dunn_acolyte vs. Rogerdoger and faceman (San Francisco flat rate chained)
barterer2002 and tm4559 vs. jetpac and yankeekid (Pearl Harbor flat rate unlimited)
Jet (pending partner) vs. furiousgiorge and benne (map and settings pending)

Round 2 will be

jetpac and yankeekid vs. faceman and rogerdoger (Extreme Global Warming, flat rate unlimited)
furiousgiorge and benne vs. Barterer2002 and tm4559 (Asia flat rate adjacent)
bones2484 and dunn_aycolyte vs. Jet and partner (San Francisco flat rate chained)

Round 3 will be

faceman and rogerdoger vs. tm4559 and barterer2002 (WWII Eastern Front flat rate unlimited)
furiousgiorge and benne vs. bones2484 and dunn_aycolyte (Asia flat rate adjacent)
Jet and partner vs. jetpac and yankeekid (settings pending)

Round 4 will be

rogerdoger and faceman vs. Jet and partner (WWII Eastern Front flat rate unlimited)
barterer2002 and tm4559 vs. bones2484 and dunn_aycolyte (Pearl Harbor flat rate unlimited)
jetpac and yankeekid vs. furiousgiorge and benne (Extreme Global Warming flat rate unlimited)

Round 5
rogerdoger and faceman vs. benne and furiousgiorge (Cairns Coral Coast, escalating, adjacent)
tm4559 and barterer2002 vs. Jet and ranger1 (Philippines, flat rate, unlimited)
bones2484 and dunn_acolyte vs. jetpac and yankeekid. (North America, flat rate, unlimited)
