I've set up the draft so that it shouldn't run after this season.

I've put in a minor change that should prevent the amateur draft from running unless all 16 teams are renewed. This should prevent the occasional problems we have where we forget to pause a league's draft during the renewal phase.I've set up the draft so that it shouldn't run after this season.

If everyone does that, the draft would run, right? Do you need some of us to leave our status as undecided or not renewing, in order to ensure this function works?
I'm going back and changing my status, just in case.

My newest messages appear first, and I didn't log into the beta site last night, so today's message about linking the renewal status notice to the User Prefs page was at the top of my list. As a result, I already updated my renewal status.If everyone does that, the draft would run, right? Do you need some of us to leave our status as undecided or not renewing, in order to ensure this function works?
I'm going back and changing my status, just in case.

I did not know what you were talking about so i had to go sign into beta

This change is just a simple stop-gap coded in the Amateur Draft code that won't allow it to run until everyone has paid.

Sometimes I get a u2u asking why the League Info shows that have not renewed in the OCL.
If the default Renewal notice displayed "Yes" instead of "No" and, when someone cancels their subscription, then the "Yes" could change to "No" giving a visual affirmation on the League Info page.
Never mind... Suspending the Amateur Draft in a Subscription leagues, like the OCL, may not work because of its structure of 4 divisions.

Off Season has run, one owner is leaving, one is unknown and two are undecided.
Do we put the league on hold ? Since we have no commissioner will Tyson or BleedRed contact the owners and solicit some fresh blood ?

I'll work on this tomorrow to make sure things paused correctly, then get us back up and running.

tworoosters, that info is just junk info. I put that in to test somethings, nothing more. We're just testing some new code in that area, as well as some new code to pause the Amateur Draft.I'll work on this tomorrow to make sure things paused correctly, then get us back up and running.

I marked everyone as renewed and ran the draft, but it didn't quite go right. I backed out the draft and am going to run it again.Tyson
