The #1 pick would be this guy: http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?mode=player&playername=nobody&id=3959604

Who is a beast but this is a lot to give up.

Hamrick, Balaz are very good.

Bucha is aging, not that good, and clearly expendable. The easiest thing to find in SD is a guy who can hit LHP.

Kahl is an okay prospect, but not a future franchise cornerstone.

Deal basically comes down to two good pitchers for one monster pitcher. You already have a glut of pitching. Why not trade two good ones for one great one?

There's every reason to anticipate that Mason will make A+/A+, and if he does he will pitch effectively until he's at least 36 or 37 years old. If he gets a good mentor rating and avoids that fluke season when a B+ overall pitcher has an ERA of 6.00, he could pitch till he's 38 or 39.

I know it's a lot of value to give up, but you're getting a ton of value back. And that's assuming that neither of the 2nd rounders you're being offered ever amount to anything.

Made the deal except put Matthews in instead of Kahl and took out the 2nds.
