Just want to know who is planning on winning now I am willing to trade all-star caliber players and my entire draft for 1 good 28 year old or so player but every offer I make gets rejected with something to the affect of "looking to the future" "won't trade unless it helps me in the long run" or flat out rebuilding. The American League looks wide open am I missing something, has it become irrelevant to win in this league or are teams so far removed from winning that they don't think they can. Well just wondering, is anybody's future now?February 03, 2007 at 11:59PM View BBCode
This is probably my last good year of contention before a minor rebuild (nothing to the effect of Washington, but still). Who are you offering, and who are you looking for?February 04, 2007 at 12:50AM View formatted

I'm wanting to win now....tomorrow...yesterday....February 05, 2007 at 02:06PM View BBCode
I don't know what you were offering. I am willing to give up a player of that level, however i don't have alot of openings unless its a pitcher, and im all draft picked out. I don't have enough CP's to develop who i have. So i think the plan is to try to win now, but knowing that i will still fall short, be happy about my teams improvement, and push forward to next year. Always willing to get better though.February 05, 2007 at 05:57PM View BBCode
Me and Detroit Banged out a deal he drove a hard bargain but I got the guy I wanted plus McGill to get me through this year. I would love to win the NL and meet Detroit in the Series would be cool to meet all the former Possums Tennessee Walker, Goldie Leroy, Rudolph Green, Baby Bull, Muffin Boyd and Zeb Colburn. We boyh got some stiff compettition though, but it would be interesting.February 05, 2007 at 09:23PM View BBCode
