Manager Ricky Bertoldie said "it is time to go, hitting .260 as a team is unacceptable, I believe that it is all because Willie has lost the love for the game and has now found love as a bed and brekfast owner."

The Philadelphia Jacksters released their hitting coach on Tuesday. Willie Whitetrash, long time hitting coach of the Jacksters job has come under scrutiny since Ricky Bertoldie replaced Geo Brunswick as general manager two seasons ago. Brunswick led the Jacksters to a 74 and 88 wins.
