However, young starters are hard to find, so it seems to me Don Stack could get some value. 2nd round pick from Devil Dogs is not bad since they will probably finish in the lower half of the standings.

I could possibly contend this year if I got someone better than Joe Elliott in LF. I could start Mike McGregor in LF or convert someone else. With this deal, I wouldn't have to worry so much about finding a replacement for my aging catcher.However, young starters are hard to find, so it seems to me Don Stack could get some value. 2nd round pick from Devil Dogs is not bad since they will probably finish in the lower half of the standings.
