I'm surprised we found a buyer. I don't see Chick setting the world on fire, but he's 21 and not Eddie Guardado---that's a plus. George Sherrill has emerged as a good situational lefty and J.J. Putz has locked down the closer role, so I see this as a pretty good deal for the M's.
Any Reds fans know anything about Chick, other than he walks too many guys and is the tenth-best prospect in the Cincinnati system?

Not a bad trade--if nothing else, we got younger. I'm just shocked the Mariners are anywhere close to .500 this point in the season...Pages: 1
