I assembled most of that Demolition squad. I'll take some credit for their success.January 10, 2006 at 08:35PM View formatted

Actually Tom, there was an expansion draft that split the team apart. I had to trade for almost an entire new team, that included trades for Soriano, Gilbreth, Young, Palmero, Ortiz & a few others.January 10, 2006 at 11:02PM View BBCode
Hey, Washington is to be commended for doing a great job with that team. No way should he have been in the World Series, no offense. But, that's a compliment to some great managing to get them that far.January 10, 2006 at 11:33PM View BBCode
Congratulations to Chicago for defending their title (and keeping it in the NL!!) As their main rival this year, I have to give credit to Brutus for building the team. While the previous owner brought the team to respectability from one of the worst teams in the league, it was Brutus who made them a top team with some bold trades. You have to give him credit, he went after and got the top hitters in the league (most of the A+ power vs. RHP). While St. Louis was the "big fish" in the earlier years of our league (in the NL), the Demolition are now the team to beat.Pages: 1
