I would give you a pat on the back but your hand is in the way. :P

Congrats you have a well assembled team.

I assembled most of that Demolition squad. I'll take some credit for their success.

Hey what about the Warriors here, we did an outstanding job over rolling over and playing dead against the Demolition. Don't we get some credit for serving it up on a silver platter for them. I'm not sure we even showed up at the park the 3rd or 4th game. Congrats to the Demolition.
BRING ON NEXT SEASON.

Actually Tom, there was an expansion draft that split the team apart. I had to trade for almost an entire new team, that included trades for Soriano, Gilbreth, Young, Palmero, Ortiz & a few others.

If both the Gladiators & the Demolition were both in first place, I'd say you build a god team good enough to support to franchises. but, seeing how the Gladiators got some pretty good young talent, and are still towards the bottom of the scrap heap, I'm going to resume taking all the credit!

Hey, Washington is to be commended for doing a great job with that team. No way should he have been in the World Series, no offense. But, that's a compliment to some great managing to get them that far.

As to the Demolition, well, I'm glad we are able to talk the smack. I had a much better team choke the bit in the Minoso League back to back years after winning their first World Series. And, this year, which I just lost, I even traded for the leagues best pitcher(he was 33).

So, while I may be boasting on this board, I'm eating crow on the other one & crying inside like a big baby.

Congratulations to Chicago for defending their title (and keeping it in the NL!!) As their main rival this year, I have to give credit to Brutus for building the team. While the previous owner brought the team to respectability from one of the worst teams in the league, it was Brutus who made them a top team with some bold trades. You have to give him credit, he went after and got the top hitters in the league (most of the A+ power vs. RHP). While St. Louis was the "big fish" in the earlier years of our league (in the NL), the Demolition are now the team to beat.
