How come I can get trades done when I feel I'm pounding a guy, but if I try to be fair, and offer an even deal, it's like IMPOSSIBLE to do a trade????
Or, how come a guy won't just reject a trade, and say why he's rejecting it(providing the offer is somewhat reasonable). NOOO, they have to leave the offer dangling for 2 weeks.
Even more QUEER than the Sots name crap after his blow up dolls.

It feels like no one ever pays any attention to this league, but according to the last login page almost everyone checks almost every day. It is most peculiar.

Doug, I can't answer your question about trades because I think you're right. I have not really understood why some owners dawdle over an offer for more than a day or two.
As for the board this league has always been sort of quiet. Some leagues chat like mad and others seem like a church. This one seems to be closer to a church.

I don't mind the quiet, as you can always goto the main boards for conversation. As long as the competition is good, I'm happy.
I actually can't make any trades right now, as I don't have any resources, and haven't sign up beyond this year, but it's something I run into a lot, and had happen to me last season when I was trading.

I do keep up with my team and try to respond to trades quickly one way or another. I have to admit the board activity is poor but I dont judge a league by postings as much as the quality of the team owners and their ways to achieving the ultimate glory of a WS championship.
I do have to say tho that the talent levels being so poor from the initial draft and the many terrible draft pools have kind of made this league a definite challenge to achieve a direction as well as probably having some GM's just going along for the ride until the credits run out. Actually I did renew for 4 more seasons at the beggining of this season and plan on sticking it out.
I also feel NY has gone overboard with the names and is another reason that renaming should be abolished. Of course then again I am just a old codger that doesnt understand todays youth assuming he is just a child thinking its cute. HMMMMMMMMM beginning to sound like my parents from years ago when I was a young foolish mind. Thats a scary though in itself.

I try to check the league each day, looking over my games, stats, etc. and find it very interesting and challenging. Other than a single season league, this is the only league I've been in, so I have nothing else to compare it to as far as chat activity. (I've never bothered to check the other league's boards) I agree with much of what is said above, but still enjoy the league. I'd be happy to see more interest on the boards and, time allowing, certainly would be willing to contribute. It seems the newer guys (Chicago Demo & NY Gladiators) have been more active. Let's see something from the founding members of our league!!
