The Red Sox signing Bowden would be the best thing to happen to New York since Game Seven of the 2003 ALCS.

And the best thing to happen to the Nationals.

God I hope its not Bowden. But there really isn't much out there to pick from right now either. Thre was also a report on T.V. yesterday from Gammons and a couple of local articles that Theo & the Sox have begun talking again so we'll see if thats got any truth to it.

No way Theo comes back.
Why bring Bowden in? I think they should promote one of their young guys who will be the pawn they want anyway and let Lucchnino do his thing.

I got to witness just how bad Bowden is while he was here in Cincinnati and let me just say if he gets the Red Sox job they can forget ever competeing with the Yankees. Bowden has an infatuation with "5 tool" OFs that usually only have about 3 tools, he would trade Manny for Willy Mo Pena and some prospects in A ball with a lot of tools in a heartbeat.
I think the people in Boston will also really enjoy having a GM that goes out to clubs and comes to the park in leather pants and has rumored affairs with minority owners wives. Good luck Boston.
