My money is on Kansas City and St. Louis, another I-70 series. KC has strong pitching, and St. Louis almost made it there last year, and I think will barley beat the Demolition in the NLCS...September 29, 2005 at 02:56PM View BBCode
What! No option to pick the slow starting Brooklyn Ward Heelers?September 29, 2005 at 05:30PM View BBCode
I go with Boston. Strong pitching and hitting are a deadly combination. I think it will be a hotly contested race for the playoffs but ultimately Boston and St. Louis go to the series.September 29, 2005 at 07:20PM View BBCode

I prefer to be the underdog. The sleeper. But, my lineup is significantly more powerful than the rest of the league combined. I have to imagine that gives me some kind of upper hand. I did make a great trade for the future by trading a good vet SP Kenny Rogers for 2 young SP's that lowered my team overall for this year, but I felt confident enough in the lineup to do that, and I wanted to have some future to intice me to extend future years in this league. And, it's almost unethical to bury a team's future to win now unless you're willing to hang around and suffer through it.October 06, 2005 at 02:34AM View BBCode
