Even as a Notre Dame hater, I can't see how you leave ND off that list.August 22, 2005 at 09:06PM View BBCode
Of course everyone is going to say that this belongs and that belongs. But in the eyes of one website at least, we are kings.August 22, 2005 at 09:08PM View BBCode

When you go to a baseball game, you can be indifferent, unaffected and above it all. The game is leisurely, so it's just nice to be in the park, take in the atmosphere, have a couple of hot dogs and a beer and watch. With college football, don't bother going unless you plan to live or die based on the outcome of the game. It's like a rock concert - if you don't care, you shouldn't be there. But if you do care, it can be transcendent in a way that no other sport really can be.August 22, 2005 at 10:51PM View formatted

Well of course, you're a Cubs fan. The closest thing you have to college football is Northwestern.August 22, 2005 at 11:06PM View BBCode
I never liked the transitory nature of college ball, I like to make a bond with my home-team guys, and that is lost with the college game. But it is stirring to hear a thunderous din like the one at a college football game, nothing like it at all, it removes everything else in the world and encapsulates you in that one, perfectly realized moment...August 23, 2005 at 12:22AM View BBCode
When playing the Cornhuskers in Lincoln Nebraska you are lucky to come away with a win. Even in with Nebraska football being in poor shape these days you will still find the staduim packed and a win hard to come byAugust 23, 2005 at 06:45AM View BBCode
I'm surprised the Rose Bowl and The Big House didn't make the list.August 23, 2005 at 12:16PM View BBCode

Uh, I can't believe I am saying this, but I completely agree with FG. There is absolutely nothing like being at a big time college football game. One of my goals in life is to take a trip or two around the country and try to catch a game at nearly everyone of those stadiums listed and then some(The Big House, Notre Dame(even though I can't stand them I want to see TD Jesus), Georgia, Tennessee and Boise(gotta check out that turf). I don't really care to see a game at Ohio St., Wisconsin or Florida St.August 25, 2005 at 03:52AM View BBCode
