We all heard the song the Devil went down to Georgia. He was looking for a soul to steal, and it was Bobby Cox's soul. Cox apparently sold it for 14 consectutive first place finishes, but only one world title. It seems as though that the Braves will finish in first again, but the real question is will they again flop in the postseason.:cool2:[Edited on 8-18-2005 by ironhorse]

Yes. I think the White Sox have figured out how to play the game as it was meant to be played, so I think they'll win the World series. As far as the rest of the playoffs, I don''t see why Atlanta couldn't pull something off.

White Sox are overachievers, and would have to get very lucky to win the world series. A's or Dead Sux will represent the AL.

I hope the White Sox win, not because I'm actually a White Sox fan, but because I've enjoyed watching them the most of the AL playoff contenders this year. But I think the Red Sox will probably win it again. And I think the World Series will be Red Sox-Cardinals..again. I know, I know, I'm going out on a limb.[Edited on 8-19-2005 by Cubsfan13]
