The playoffs will be run tomorrow, with the offseason run on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The offseason and Amateur draft were just run for the Beta league. Keep in mind that if you were in the Expansion draft, you might have had players retire that didn't play for you last season (I forgot about this for a minute, and was starting to think there was a bug).

Okay, its a good thing I ran this test on the beta site. I had forgotten that the draft order is set during the offseason module. So it looks like the teams drafted in the wrong order. Sorry about that, not really a fair way to do it. But I don't have the records from last season to reset it properly.

Yes the worst team probably should draft first in the draft.

At least thats what I think woulb be most fair. That way potentially the best player or the biggest hole would be filled with the best players and then you would get worse players as the picks went on. Basically the bets player to the worst team and the worst player to the best team round by round.

Hey I inherited the worst team but we have rebuilt ok. We will be a real contender this year if my young guns can step up and give me some innings. Kind of like the pirates of 2002. I'm happy with what I got in the AM Draft and even though the order was a little off it still looks pretty good. Although it may be just my team but I picked up a few guys who will be my opening day players usually and it looks like some others did as well. My team may have just sucked but it seems like there are a lot of great players in the AM draft. I can really use a couple of those stars in my other dynasty team.

After finishing in the middle of the pack, I ended up with the final pick in EVERY round after I also had the last pick in the original draft. I got no help whatsoever while the teams ahead of me in the standings got richer. It don't look like much fun coming up!!:(

I'll rerun the draft tomorrow. Thanks doug for the standings. Please don't trade any players who were drafted today, because they will be deleted from the game.

This will give me another chance to test out the Amateur draft too.

Ok, draft is done... again. Looks good this time!

I may run a game or two tonight, I'm working on the game code again.
