Just wanted to see what your early thoughts are? I just noticed your team and I like it and what you are doing (not that my opinion matters) You have been quiet so just wanted to see what your planning.

my monkeys are planning an all out attack...:o

thank you for complimenting my team.

i have what i think to be a decent collection ouf guys in ripe improvement age with great health. most are b or b+, so should be decent players when all is said and done. frye, paciello and santos should be very good. and i have a couple of minor leaguers, jade, kylie and iste that will also be good in a few seasons.

my main concern is pitching. i have 2 really good starters (22 y/o b+), but then about 5 guys who are less that 20 and won't improve much at the major league level. they are just in there getting pounded until they are 21, then should improve better. i just habe no one to caqll up so they can go to the minors to get cp's.

given the youth on my team (average age about 21), i am surprised i am winning at all...

i am still looking for a 21-24 y/o starting pitcher that i can develop in the majors. i will pay a decent price in prospects or draft picks to get the right guy.

Unfortunately I do not have any pitching worth offering. And I'm only looking for 5 starters and 5 relief pitchers. Last time I tinker with my settings before I draft. If you ever need some vets check me out. But I believe your team will be a force in a few seasons.

So looks like Binkie and Blankie are your two most valuable possessions... er... players. I have to assume you've still got kids in diapers to come up with those names. (Admitantly, 2 of my relievers are named after my 2y/o daughter!).

I have yet to develop any players worthy of being named after my 2 young daughters:lol:

3 three year olds! binkies have departed about 9 months ago, but the name was thought up a year ago when i started playing SD. blankies are still a major sourse of security for the girls...

i hope your daughter is Violet Grace rather than Armando Bruce...

by the way blucy -- i'm proud of you for demoting baracus. you'll find he progresses much faster this way.

 That was good. you managed to wean them off easily? My oldest is 5 and that was tough but 1 day I just told her the garbage man took it. My youngest is now addicted but is only 2. I will eventually make a name change to honor them but obviously I need the right players, most likely my minor league SS

once one of them did it, my wife and used (positive) peer pressure. the first week was the roughest, but there came a time when we just said enough. jasmine was the worst. she doesn't have a favorite stuffed animal. rather, she would have a binky in her mouth and one on each of her pointer fingers -- so she had to give up 3.

I know how that is, this last one will be rough when her time comes.
