How did Washington not get a pitcher in the first round when they had the first 6 players on their list as pitchers? Washington had the 5th pick and of the first 4 picks only 2 were pitchers? For a team that desparately needed pitching and to not gewt on intil the last round and one that is worthless on top of that - what gices? Did I do something wrong? Any ideas as to why this would have happened?

On the preferrences page did you make sure that you listed pitchers as wanted in the maximum players per postition ara...not the ranking, but above where you say how many players per position?

Thats the only thing I can think of

I don't know what went wrong, but I wish I could review my draft order. I like to evaluate where I got certain players from. :(

Woodward don't you have aprintout of your order? Jbush you probably accidentally hit update rankings without realizing it which returns it to the computers rankings not yours, it sux I did that last night and had to totally re-enter my entire rankings for the JRL. Tyson needs to fix that.

It must be that dang KC team again...always getrting the better of Washington on the field and in the draft.

KC drafts Bobby Toca in the first round. Toca has been named KC's Closer for the upcoming season.

KC's GM states, "We were eyeing Toca, but was not sure if any of the teams ahead of us were going to pass on pitching in the first round. Toca should be productive for us at the start. I have handed him the closer job, so we sit and see."

You're right about getting Washington on the field and in the draft. Another long season of weak pitching from the Senators!:puzzled:

My pitching isn't looking much better. I plan to play my young guys and hope they improve over the next couple of seasons.
