In my first 12 seasons of premium play, I have won 7 SB's. I know the end is coming, but I cant say it has not been fun.

The end won't be coming anytime soon as long as you're allowed to make 10-20 yard screen passes through man to man defense against one of the better secondaries in the league with no blitz on when some of us can't even complete that same pass against a max blitz with a comparable, or even better, quarterback. Or as long as you're allowed to run for 17 and 50 yards on 4th and 1's to keep drives alive(and then some) even though the other team is in run cover with one of the better run defenses in the league. Or as long as you're able to make lopsided trades for stud QBs. Not to mention the tanking of course. Much respect.

My Fullback running 50 yards on a 4th and 1 was sheer luck.
I had 1 blitz in my first half defense during the SB. I forget what down it was on, but my settings were inside run 1, outside run 3, and sam blitz 1. (I use 1, 2, 3 ,4 in slots and not %).
My hope was if you did not see a change in the first half, you would think I was going as is and not change my defense. SO I had a whole series of blitzes in the 3rd quarter and I did get a crucial sack or 2. Thinking you might use screens in the 4th, I took the blitzes out and changed to the run with a little man to man. It was the first time, honestly, I have used man to man, but it looked to me like you had given up on running. Man to man was my only choice as shallow zones are useless against high exe QB's with low aggression and I wold not use deep zone unless ahead by 50.
For some reason most of my between qtr changes always fall in the right place at the right time. AGAIN. SF is the exception, he for whatever reason has me figured out. I believe he is at least 6 -0 maybe more against me lately. I got one game to OT with him, but other than that he has rolled.
In this last SB, for the first time, I thought you were just plain out coached. You totally devised your game outside of how you won all season. Sort of like many teams have been in the past with Belichick, you were psyched out before we started. Let's face it, you ran 10 times the entire game.
Tanking, if it were me you posted about several season ago, I did not answer as you left it open whom you were referring to. Since that was my only losing season and you now identify your target was me, I will respond. I have been accused 2 seasons, with over a decade playing SD, of tanking, one was in baseball and now this is the 2nd. Both cases I was out of playoff competition half way through the season. When I am out of contention, I will and will continue in the future start my youngest players. There is nothing gained to start veterans who achieve hardly, if any, improvement points. This is common with REAL LIFE games also, once a team believes a season is lost they play for the future. IF that is tanking than sobeit.
I guess it is debatable, but I did not get the best player in the draft where you assumed I tanked. I drafted based on need and did get a great CB, but I had the best player in the draft as the WR Oz that went to Win.

I feel yah. The screen pass is just something I found in the system, I noticed it playing Chicago in the 2nd season of CLFL. It seemed to me chi did well with screens, especially deep in their own end against my defense. The screen pass though is very hit or miss and anyone who watches our latest SB knows I failed much more than I succeeded, I just do a high number hoping to hit one. You stopped me just outside of FG range several times because I ran screens on 3rd and 4 and they failed. If I had made them, I would have routed you. You did run screens against me but not many and I held my breath every time as I never once used man to man till the 4th qtr.. I wasn't outcoached I was outcheated as usual. I didn't run because the AI wouldn't let me. Once again your run defense was too good so I used play action like I have in the past when a team has really good run defense but not necessarily the talent to back it up. That's a sign that the other team is getting away with stopping the run by playing a high percentage of run cover and having that be enough to stop a team with the best offensive line in the league and one of the better RBs.

I haven't lost a game in the TDFL in almost a month. But here in CLFL, I somehow won just 3 games last year and I was trying to win. I'm not into tanking, I can't recall the last losing season I've had. Oh well, shows the level of competion here is high. My rebuild here in the CLFL was mistimed. The drafts here have been awful. I got picks but no one worth drafting.

I've won more championships than you in premium leagues so I understand the game enough to know what should happen and what shouldn't happen. I'm not getting into depth with you either because you don't get it...like how screen passes are supposed to be situational and not supposed to be used like normal passes with the success you magically have with them. How there was nothing special about your QB to allow for such bullsh*t to happen. Or how screen passes were actually nerfed early on in the life of sim football because they were overpowered and how so many things in the sim seem to have slipped back to being flawed because the admin doesn't give a sh*t. If you figured anything out it's only how to take advantage of these flaws and loopholes in the game that shouldn't be there. You aren't the first and won't be the last.
