First time I've seen this...

Did any one ever see a pitcher hit a game winning home run? Especially a middle reliever?

No. Crazy. The funny thing is he has C- power against lefties, but he hit the homer off of a righty in which case he has D- power. I guess he swung as hard as he could just in case he hit it.

Dude has an A in speed, maybe it was an inside the park job!

That's funny, I never even checked his power rankings! It probably was an inside the park homer like mentioned!

No, not even in MLB.
Only time I ever saw a RP hit a gw or game tying homerun.
Go back to July 4-5, 1985 NY Mets vs Braves.

Camp then in his third inning of relief in the 19th gave up 5 runs and loss 16-13 to the Mets.

Does Keith Hernandez's cycle in that game count despite the fact it took him two games worth of innings to record it?

Actually, he'd done it by the 12th inning. I was having fun with it. I'm a lifelong Mets fan but that game doesn't really stand out.

I do remember this one, with a memorable performance by an aged Rusty 'Le Grande Orange' Staub.

Ah, the Mets...good or bad - usually bad - they are always entertaining.
