Nice work, thought you had jump the gun a little last season with rebuilding.
Best of luck to all, even the botts!

once again, my boys got close but came up a little short. Boston deserves congratulations for its second triumph in the last three years. I'm trying to take this in stride, but three years in a row of getting close but ultimately failing must be taking a psychological toll on my boys. I only hope they show up on opening day. . .

Thanks, guys. I appreciate it. I knew my guys would be close another season or two but rebuilding after holding your cards too long is always 5-6 seasons longer and infinitely more painful than if you have a jump start on a rebuild. I was hoping for the jump start but the offers I received were far from anything useful so I stuck it out.
And, jbk, I lost the WS for 6 seasons in a row. Those losses included being up 3-0 one year and then also losing when the opposing manager knowingly cheated and played an illegal player. I'm not saying I have no sympathy for your 3 straight close calls.....but I have no sympathy whatsoever for your 3 close calls, lol. When you get to 6 or 7, I'll start feeling for you.
Joking aside, let's hook back up one more time next season.

I'd love to but I suspect Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee plus some others may have something to say about it. 6 in a row--that's brutal.
