Swanson had an awesome season so he deserves it but would be curious what a real vote by humans would produce.

There are very few rookies that hit 33 HR, and knock in 89 runs and not win the ROY.Swanson had an awesome season so he deserves it but would be curious what a real vote by humans would produce.

I don't see how those stats trump 33 HRs. The only other detail that favors Swanson is he's marginally younger. By mere months.
It's a nice new rivalry, with both players drafted 1 (Swanson) and 2 (Hamaura.) And now with Hamaura losing ROY to Swanson, the two are bound forever. I think it'll be cool and interesting to see how their careers play out.

Hamaura had the better year in every way, except in Stolen Bases, BA and Runs Scored.
