As i said earlier, the Ghost of Brian Porter is against us. As Arthur Southwick was walking off the mound and entering the dugout, with the closer on hoping to secure Southwick's 28th win...he stepped on a baseball that magically appeared on the dugout steps and injured his pitching arm. Out 40+ days. The baseball had faint but readable initials on it. BPJuly 08, 2017 at 03:03AM View BBCode
$h!t. He was gonna be kinda important as you tried to take on the Detroit juggernaut.July 08, 2017 at 02:47PM View BBCode
. . . I can see it now: Detroit has a 20 game lead, Cleveland loses the best pitcher in the League for the playoffs, Detroit is programmed by ABE to be overconfident, Manning, Shellenback, etc., pitch phenomenal games in the first round and Detroit goes home wondering what might have been. Or something else could happen. Leading by 20 games is no fun. It makes you anticipate all the negatives. Plus competition is fun.July 08, 2017 at 09:31PM View formatted

with your pitching I'm not sure you qualify as "David" in our upcoming series but I do wish you good luck. After losing the last 3 to you I am not feeling very much like "Goliath." I didn't quite follow the Brian Porter story. Who is or was BP?July 09, 2017 at 02:38AM View BBCode
Brian Porter won 28 games in 1950. Most wins for a single season. Now tied.Pages: 1
