Boston just has to win 1 game to be safe, so they will likely make it in. NY needs to split to move on. To make it interesting, Tampa and NY play each other in the final series of the regular season.

This weekend Boston, NY, Tampa, and Seattle are going to battle it out for 3/4 playoffs spots in the AL. They are all within 6 games of each other.
Boston just has to win 1 game to be safe, so they will likely make it in. NY needs to split to move on. To make it interesting, Tampa and NY play each other in the final series of the regular season.
