Interestingly enough, when the JRL cubs won in 2019, that ended a 69 season dry spell of JRL championships. Their first since the intro of the league in 1950.

That's actually part of the reason I took over this team initially. I wanted the challenge of building the NL Chicago team back into a winner. That's right, call me Sim Dynasty Theo Epstein ;)
