Murray Wins 16th Straight; Goes 30-2 for the Year

The headline really says it all; Milwaukee Bucks ace and reigning Cy Young Award winner Juan Murray notches a win on the last day of the season to finish 30-2, 2.38, and thereby clinching his 3rd career Cy Young Award.

Meanwhile, Murray's off-the-field escapades continue. According to local news sources he notched his 16th straight week of wandering dazed and confused from the local bar at 2 AM Saturday and Sunday mornings and each mid-day during the week. "I don't know how he does it" said local sheriff, Billy Burnedbunns. "One moment he's on the mound pitching a h*** of a game and the next he's flopping around like a fish on dry land." Regardless of Murray's personal situation - which according to Buck's owner LTJaeger "is substantial from a financial standpoint" - everybody loves to come out to the ball game and watch his masterful performances. Even if he does suck on the rosin bag on the mound from time to time. A rosin bag soaked with rum? Who knows. Congrats to Mr. Murray and his fine season/career. Perhaps one day in the near future the Washington club will return the favor. Steroids have been considered.
