Montreal's glory days are long gone as nephew Ben can not even fill uncle Ben's single toe in his shoes. So Montreal had to draft with 100% effort.
Pick 2 WR Clem Clever will cause plenty of brain clots to blitzing teams and will up the passing game close to the multi sim bowl wins of long past.
Pick 18 Safety George Dogg agile quick and cutter of angles will shine after a baptism by fire early start in development fills a huge huge weak spot and allows us to depthify the rest of the secondary well.
Pick 34 G Elbert Strong bow Sr. His younger BRO still in HS has 3 weight lifting championships and will soon make a wall to the pass rush wannabee dl's
PICK 50 Rt WesBilly Barty a legend in his own mind will prove he can agilitily sopen the run lanes if we go to a 2 way game with some opponents.
The rest of the Picks are sitting on pigeon eggs as surrogate warmers.
Over all grade in the draft A+ considering the depth. CLEM Clever guaranteed a playoff spot and run.

Let's go gents rate your draft.

Round 1 - C Mike Nesser - claims a spot on the active roster but still playing behind one of the best and most consistent centers in the league while he works on the his mechanics and strength building. He will see some playing time, but won't get the starting nod for a while yet.
Round 2 - Lot to like about this young man, not sure why I drafted a TE though since I had zero TE's selected and no rounds checked... AFE laughing in the background. Still, he comes in as the front runner for the backup TE gig ahead of 2 other TE's currently on the roster.
Round 3 - LB Hersh White - Needs to work on stopping the run, but his intangibles all received high grades. Future star and will get playing time to further his progression.
Round 4 - LB Paul Marvin - Not a great run stopper at all, but has the pass defensive talent to play in special roles against the pass. For now, sitting and developing on the bench.
Round 5 - RB Don Flowers - The belief that the world is flat is a comparable view to this guys lack of talent. Cut.
Round 6 - G Lance Psaltis - He has some talent and may do in a pinch in certain lineups. He is hoping to make the team but is a long shot.
Round 7 - Would do well in the canadian league, but not here. Cut.
Overall rating A-. with minimal needs that had to be filled now the depth and future of the team was well covered at several positions.

Charlotte dropped the ball this season, winning their 8th division championship in a row and 16th division championship in 18 seasons but lost in the WC round. right into starting lineup
2nd round: Kostos DE 22, has a chance to be very good DE, 2 red letter skills,
becomes instant starter
3rd round: Coster SS 22, will be a starter from day one
4th round: Haak S 22, has been waived
5th round: Henderson WR 22, will need to have a good spring to claim roster
spot
6th round: Huffman WR 21, has been cut
7th round: Owens RB 22, has been cut
Toronto rates their draft a B, got 3 DEF players that step right into an
already good defense, the hope is with younger players they don't fade in
2nd half of games like they have the last couple of seasons, teams season
will depend on QB play and their ability to cut their turnovers down
