Frank Tripucka will now be leading the Soviets starting next season. New England wanted to take some of the defensive pressure off the run game. With NE always drafting towards the bottom, a trade was the only course of action that could be taken. Frank should have around 5 more season as a legit star in the league before declines.
NE's owner felt that an upgrade at the QB position can get them over the hump and back to being Sim Bowl champs. They already had one of the best defenses in the league, and a QB with the abilities of Frank, will improve the Soviets on both sides of the ball.
A solid draft can put NE right up at the top as favorites to make the Sim Bowl.

In other news Gray Squirrell owner of Minnesota has rewarded Orlando Adkins (wr) with a very expensive family trip to Disney Land Moon along with a contract for service to Minnesota for life. Having overpaid with a smile in a trade several seasons ago for a speedy only receiver geo began to have doubts about O. A. - a single late drive today made the journey earn it's reward
