ROY 1976

May 23, 2016 at 11:19PM View BBCode

Weirdly, I just noticed that my 2nd Round Pick, WR Haller, is fourth in the League in Rec. Yards (698) on 105 targets, averaging 12.7 per Catch.

Only one TD on the season, but that's pretty good stuff.

And my traded-for starter at WR (from WASH,) 3rd Rder Gulledge, has about the same amount of targets, less yards (503,) but three TDs.

Haller, at least, is definitely in discussion for ROY, I'd think.

Also, and not surprising given the paucity of talent on Winnipeg-formerly-Charlotte, it's good to see four of WIN's seven Draft picks are starting players. QB, DE, LG, and WR, and none older than 22. Solid start for the rebooted franchise.

Minion Harry isn't doing too bad for Michigan either, rushing for 743 yards so far and 3 TD's. Minion Hobart has 2 Int's so far on the season as a rookie. Minion Ray has racked up a whopping 1 sack. But the best rookie of my season so far, has to be Minion Wilbur.

Wilbur has punted for 2828 yards so far this season with only 248 yards returned on 71 punts. He has punted for 800 more yards than my QB has thrown for which doesn't look kindly on my QB, but good stats for a punter none the less

Well, now I know I have a pretty good player in WR Haller--AFE decided to injure him for 23 days at the most crucial point in the season (with the Playoffs a minor possibility.) So that's definitive proof!
