Defense is a lot harder to do considering that tackles are not accounted for. So I am running strictly off sacks, FF, Ints/deflections etc.
Milt Sharp - A 5th round pick, he managed 3 sacks and 1 FF for Cleveland this year, beating out first DT taken Justin Burnham from Pittsburgh because of the FF even though he was 1 sack shy. Notice a trend in that division?
Donnie Moore - 10 sacks and 2 FF. Not only is Donnie in the running for DROY but he will most likely make the run for DPOY as well. Incredible start for the rookie.
Jack Kowalkowski - 4 sacks and 2 FF Jack led the way for LB's in this rookie class. He didn't do much against the pass, but was definitely a consideration for opposing RB's to keep mind of.
Ronnie Berry - 3 Int and 4 break ups to total 7 deflections for Denver, Ronnie shored up a secondary with his immediate impact. For added measure he was the only CB in this draft to record a sack.
Chuck Vance - 3 Int's 1 returned for a TD marks Chuck as the top Safety in the draft class. A great start to a career for a young player.
