Conversion question

When a player is on the cusp of changing grade levels is it usual to have them to not convert in that stat several times before finally breaking through? This player has been close to B+/A- for a while but just hasn't gotten there yet.

fluke. I mean, the better they get in a skill, obviously the harder it is to convert chances, but there's nothing in the code that makes it disproportionately harder to convert an IC that would change a letter grade.

is it better to leave a prospect on the minors with 5 CP or to let him have a few games in the majors to collect those IC too?

that depends on the league, the prospect and the roster situation.

trial league, mid level prospect, you don't really need him but can afford to give him playing time if it's worth it.

Trial league play him see what happens if you aren't contending.

in a trial league very few prospects will develop enough to make an impact at the major league level because of the short time window. but in general, prospects who are OS22 or under will develop better in the minors so in the absence of an other motivator (too many quality prospects, player is needed to compete in the majors) they should sty down the entire year.
