<b> opinions opinions how did we do.

Minnesota ---- with the need to watch the pockets we needed to add some injury protections to the team and to now move some vetran talent to other teams.

Pick 34 - WR Little Rubio - will fill in as a backup receiver at #4 and did protect the cap.

Pick 72 - CB Lorenzo Mushroom - slow can't Tackle solid pass cover CB was a gaff in the draft sorting but will be given the chance to develop.

Pick 78 - S Tim Chooch - can't have enough Safeties fits in beautifully with his A+ pursuit and red letter agility and is a cheap expense.

Pick 100 - LB Flip Duvalier - simply will probably backup with his lack of agility he will get A drilled hard during pre season.

Overall Geo is just Ok with his picks and can now move his 2 bench receivers to teams that may need these vets. And will have to worry next season on CAP lol.....

The 5 most interesting picks

#10 - G - Henry Magnum - Montreal - potential Monster for a major eye sore on team
#23 - ILB - Dick Stocks - Pittsburgh - very smart pick as managments begins doing the D
#27 - Qb - barry Spiva - Buffalo - Heir apparent to Tebow different owner????? Can shbo2 find playtime? Indeed
#64 - CB - Larry Osbourne - New England he was next on my list Dam It.
#81 - DE - Jamie Boll - Orlando a little weight room work this season will go a long way on that double a RC/TKL may be the steal in the draft

The rest of my picks are resting in waivers heaven.

My draft was nothing more than damage control. having no picks in the top two rounds, I was just looking to add a little depth and maybe have the offchance to pick up a gem.

Pick 86 - Gilbert Grape. I actually had him ranked 15th overall. Good strength, good run cover, will need some work on pass blocking but should make a nice addition to the OL

Pick 110 - Gene Autry. Ranked at 17 on my board, Needs some execution and run block drills, but another strong young guy for the OL

Pick 118 - Brent Janerette - Now we get into the players that weren't scouted as hard as the rest, Red letter strength DT with B+ execution are about the only things he has going for him

Pick 150 - Art Jackson - Highly aggressive, strong OLineman, Art will get penalized aplenty in this league, but has the strength desired to stick around a while.

Pick 182 - Cut within the first 30 minutes

Pick 214 - Joined his Dline buddy getting cut in the first 30 minutes.

Probably my worst draft since I've owned the NE franchise. I did get a SS with my #1 pick that will be a starter this year or next. Thats a tough position to get good quality players so thats a plus. The next 2 picks i drafted CB's. I was pretty set at the position before the draft so that sucks. Had to take the best players tho. Looking to move a CB or 2. I was hoping to get the kicker with my 2 round pick but missed him by 3 picks i think. Overall grade.......C- maybe worse?

SASK had and I mean HAD to get a WR of some quality, and managed with Jenkins in Rd 1. Should be a good 'un, and can return kicks and play a little Gunner.

Got lucky in the bottom of the 3rd with a Center, West, who has okay Potential and might can develop a little. Still, he's relief for a line that hasn't had a "natural" Center in a while, moving the starter to his RG position.

And FS Cherry, a 6th Rder, looks like a player who might can stay on the roster. He isn't fast, but he can cover a little. Usually 6ths are just fodder, but this guy can be a back-up.

I give SASK a A-, wishing I'd had more picks obviously. But if the Center turns out to be a Starter, that's two desperate needs filled. And that's amore.

Indy moves up from 16th to 1st pick, while giving up next years first round for:

QB - Ron Armstrong. A reach most would question why, but with his A's all over the board except THRA and EXE I am sure I can fix those shortly. Could not continue with waiting game to get a QB before Abbott declines badly which already started.

DT - Reggie Simmons. With good DT's hard to come by this is a work in progress, considering I have 2 solid DT's in their young age, he will finally replace Kelcher in 2 to 3 years.

RT - Freddie Bellamy. Young, Dumb but can run block with strength. Will be a good back up during his career which everyone needs, especially on offensive line.

CB - Jim Walker. Another CB that cant tackle or be that pass cover guy but will be used as a KR that can take the place of Dan Dawkins who served me well as KR while also backing up the CB position.

OLB - Jack McClure. Be lucky to make the roster.

C+ B- if I get Ron to the Tebow land.
