Turnovers

October 07, 2015 at 01:42PM View BBCode

Here we go again. The turnovers are bad enough but why are they always on my side of the field? It's like my team runs it fumbles or if it passes it throw an INT. So basically my team isn't allowed to do anything because it will result in a turnover. It's like a third to half the points scored by the other team are easy points or even totally free gifts directly from turnovers. It's getting old.

it's because AFE doesn't like you. I thought you knew that.

It sort of feels that way sometimes, especially against Buffalo. On the fumble it didn't 'take' the first time so it made my team fumble again on the next play.

it's deliberate. AFE is programmed to be intentionally unfair to one owner exclusively until that owner is driven to quit. they say AFE is supposed to pick the owner at random, but some people think that he picks the guys who complain the most. now that jb seems have left, I guess he's picked you. it's called the 'squeaky wheel' algorithm. now that I think on it, if that's what it's called I guess it can't really be truly 'random' can it?

Incomplete, incomplete, incomplete. I might as well just forfeit every time I play Buffalo

(you are aware that BUF is one of the best owners on the site, right?)

One of the luckiest too apparently.

I once lost a sim bowl by 4 points despite outgaining the other team by 100 yards and a 10min TOP advantage when a pick and a fumble on back to back possessions turned into 10 points against and my QB threw a 3 yard pass from the opponent's 11 with 0:01 on the clock at the snap. yet I don't recall the other owner saying anything about feeling lucky after that game.

Luck can be a factor.

Of course. In both directions.

As long as it goes in both directions.

That's kind of an absurd thing to say, jb.

I can't buy a turnover. Other team fumbles twice in a row and gets it back both times. You can't beat crap like that.
